Porfidio “The Maximus” is a limited-edition Extra Añejo tequila crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in Jalisco. Designed as one of Porfidio’s most refined expressions, this release is made through a highly controlled small-batch process, from cold-pressed agave juice extraction to cold fermentation and double distillation.

Aged for 8 years in virgin Pennsylvania oak barrels, “The Maximus” develops a rich, mature profile while preserving the natural character of the agave. The tequila is bottled from a single barrel, non-chill-filtered, and naturally colored, with no caramel adjustment.

The result is a deep, elegant Extra Añejo with notes of toasted oak, vanilla, dried fruit, warm spice, and cooked agave. Its extended production timeline — 18 years in the making — reflects the patience and precision behind the bottle.
